Lecture reflection:            

Today we’ve learnt about enhancing business intelligence using ISs.We’ve learnt about its importance in a business to understand big data, the 7v’s and how it gives a firm different opportunities and threats which are wider choices for customers; short product life cycles; fierce competition; unstable markets & global threats.

Organisations need continuous planning and ongoing adjustment and decision making. It was easy for me to understand how an organisation functions and the kind of data they use etc as my dad owns a business I was really keen to know how things function and why he continuous has to plan and be prepared for every situation.

In future, I can use planning method and do things on time for example study for my university so that I can A-levels in my courseworks, hence I need to work hard and plan a timetable and organise things so I could study in my free time and be a topper in my university.

Group work reflection:

Today we discussed in group about assignment and group projects as well. Later on, we discussed about the projects. Our group discussion is focused on a company named Aero Associated everyone including Ms. Susie is really interested about our project will come out because it was my idea as my uncle owns aero associated which provides a number of facilities to the heathrow airport.

Seminar reflection:

We learnt how to make personal blogs and add  lecturers and basically give them access to the blogs we are supposed to make weekly case studies to watch youtube and share videos on the youtube channel which involves 4-5 steps. Later on, we were given an assignment to discuss Adoption of Human Resource Information System in Organisations which was a little boring but quiet east to understand.
