Lecture Reflection:   

Today we've come across  IS Crimes, Security & Controls. We've learnt about the threats of the organisations which are:  more vulnerable to security disasters, Internal/External threats, fire, floods, hurricanes, etc.

The different types of computer viruses was the most interesting which are viruses, worms, trojans and how hackers prevent the people of the organisation to get back on the data. Later on, we were told about Spam, captcha ,spim & phishing.After which we were aware of the different types of cyber threats: cyber-harassment, cyber-stalking , cyber-bullying etc. The different computer ethics were knowledgeable as well.

This interested me as I always wanted to know about the different types of viruses that attacked different types of viruses that attack electronics and I could recall from my childhood that a number of devices that has been destroyed due to several kinds of viruses. I was curious to find about it and why viruses affect and what kind... I was really happy to find out all these answers and it was a really fun lecture to listen to.

In future I would try and keep all my devices safe from such cyber crimes by using private pages, vpn etc. I will be more cautious and always eject my devices and download movies,songs etc from the websites that are well recognised websites.

Seminar Reflection:

Today, In the seminar we have made an excel sheet and used formulas to sum up the different areas of a tourist expenditure and again we had to use formulas to find the total and percentages of overseas and domestic expenditure.

It was fun as my group and I worked together on it we were quiet sportive and active today, hence we exchanged ideas, discussed and finally were able to complete our worksheet on time.

Group Reflection:

In group of 5 we discussed that we should meet up on next tuesday and make google documents an account where we can share slides and discuss about the presentation in the campus library. our teamwork went smoothly. I felt relaxed because I can do my work if I stay overtime on tuesday easily.

My group members are really co-operative and we always make sure we're on time and finish our things.
